Stephanie and Nick met in middle school. 12 years and over 2,000 miles later, they fell in love. Two years after that, Stephanie was diagnosed with pauci-immune glomerulonephritis. Four days after their wedding, Nick gave Stephanie "Billy the Kidney".
Now that they're 9 months married and post-transplant, Stephanie has more energy and is hoping to return to the workforce soon.
