We need your personal stories and photos to help us spread awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. The theme of these images will be “This moment, brought to you by your kidneys.”
To participate, please send an email to sjcastro@nkfi.org with the following:
A photo of you. It needs to be well-lit and clear and you should be able to see your face. The photo can be of you during treatment (ie in your dialysis chair), doing something active (ie at the Walk for Kidneys), or with your family/friends.
A brief narrative (one or two paragraphs) about the moment in the picture. For example. “I am enjoying the Walk for Kidneys with my mom and brother. My brother is my living donor. With his kidney, I can enjoy spending time with my family.” Make it personal!
Your name and kidney disease status. (waiting for a kidney, post-transplant, on dialysis, pre-dialysis, etc.)
