Currently in Illinois there are over 4,000 people on the waiting list for life saving organs with 63.4 percent of the people have a multicultural background. In honor of National Minority Donor Awareness Month in August, Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network invites you to join the conversation about health disparities in our multicultural communities and how we can partner to create a positive culture for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
