Grill 89: Protein Bowls that Give Back

Grill 89 in Westmont, IL is a Mike Ditka restaurant known for its delicious food. And in February, they'll be known as National Kidney Foundation Illinois allies!


From February 1-28, they’re donating 15% of the proceeds from all three of the protein bowls on their menu. The kind folks at Grill 89 will also have a donation box at the host stand should diners wish to give a little extra.



The protein bowl portion of the menu sounds delicious!

Bang Bang Shrimp (gf) brown rice, organic quinoa salad, kale, cheddar-jack, pineapple, poblano pepper, ranchero sauce, avocado Greek yogurt, pico de gallo

Santa Fe Chicken (gf) brown rice, blackened grilled chicken, corn & black bean salsa, cheddar-jack, avocado, kale, tomato, chipotle mayo

Wood Grilled Filet Mignon (gf) brown rice, ancient grains, organic kale, root vegetables, goat cheese, garlic vinaigrette


Each person who dines in will receive an informational brochure about the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and about ways to take care of your kidneys with diet and exercise.
