#TeamKidney Chicago Marathon: Olga Lipiszsko

Spotlight on #TeamKidney marathon runner Olga Lipiszsko today! Olga says,

"My goal is to raise funds to further research, financially support families who are affected by kidney disease but are unable to pay for care, and to raise awareness.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease at age 12. This disease is a condition characterized by a gradual loss of kidney function, leading to renal failure. Dialysis and an eventual transplant are an inevitability for me and thousands of others who suffer, which is why this is a cause so close to my heart."

Support Olga by cheering her on this Sunday, October 13 at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon or by donating to her Crowdrise page here.
