Delfina says, "Working for Fresenius Kidney Care the past 5 years, I know firsthand the importance of organizations like the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.
Hispanics are 1½ times more likely to have kidney failure and knowing that I'm raising funds to help prevent and educate people about kidney disease makes all the training worth while. This isn't my first marathon but running for a cause that is extremely important makes it a very special one!"
