Quick and Easy Brussels Sprouts
Makes: 4 servings (serving is 1/2 cup)
Per serving: Calories 48, Protein 2g, Sodium 14 mg, Potassium 222 mg, Phosphorus 28 mg
Ingredients
1 tsp unsalted butter
1 tsp olive oil
12 Brussels sprouts, trimmed and thinly sliced
1 TBSP lemon juice
1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over high heat until butter is melted and browned, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in Brussels sprouts and lemon juice. Cook until the Brussels sprouts are just heated and start to soften, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Season with pepper and serve.
