National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI) attended a community session entitled, “Elements of a Healthy Maywood” on Saturday, January 21, 2023.
The session addressed the question, "what comprises a healthy community?" NKFI was invited to participate as a vital member of the community, providing free KidneyMobile screenings, community health talks, Take Charge sessions, and other outreach in the Maywood community in an effort to achieve health equity across the state of Illinois.
