Continue the St. Patrick’s Day celebration and kick off your spring racing season with the Shamrock Shuffle in 2022! The Shamrock Shuffle is one of Chicago’s best running events, with a one-of-a-kind course that weaves its way through Chicago’s Loop, starting and finishing in Grant Park. When you run on behalf of the NKFI, every mile you put behind you will raise money for free health screenings, community programming, and cutting-edge research.

The Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K will start and finish in Grant Park. The course will weave through downtown, giving way to sweeping views of Chicago’s famed skyline and Lake Michigan.
Transit, Driving, Parking
All participants and spectators are encouraged to use public transit. If you drive, allow time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.
The Millennium Garages offer the closest race day parking options to Grant Park at the Grant Park North, Grant Park South, Millennium Park, and Millennium Lakeside garages.
6:30am: Gear check opens
6:30am: Start corrals open
8:30am: 8K Run (Wave 1) starts
9:00am: Post-Race Party begins
9:00am: 8K Run (Wave 2) starts
9:30am: 2-mile Walk starts
9:30am: Live music begins at the Post-Race Party
11:30am: Gear check closes
1:00pm: Beer ticket sales end
1:30pm: Post-Race Party ends
