Join us for the 8k Run, 2-mile walk, or the mile at the Annual Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle! 

 

When you run on behalf of the NKFI, every mile you put behind, you will raise money for free health screenings, community programming, and cutting-edge research.

 

As a member of Team Kidney, you'll have discounted race registration, access to our online giving platform, an NKFI fundraising coach, and exciting Team Kidney incentives. Best of all, you'll have the entire NKFI community cheering you on.

Event Location

8K RUN: The 8k is a one-of-a-kind course that weaves its way through Chicago’s Loop, starting and finishing in Grant Park.

​

2-Mile: The 2-Mile is a course along Chicago’s lakefront, starting and finishing in the same location as the 8K Run.

​

The Mile: The Mile is a fun course that weaves through Chicago’s front yard, Grant Park. 

Transit, Driving, Parking

TRANSIT

All participants and spectators are encouraged to use public transit. If you drive, allow time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

 

PARKING

Limited street parking is available along the Midway Plaisance. If you drive, plan to arrive early. The event is not responsible for those who drive and do not make the start of the race. Please pay attention to the NO PARKING zones near the race venue..
