The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI) is mourning the passing of one of its board members, Paul Temcio, who passed away on December 27, 2020.
Paul was a husband, father, and transplant recipient who was committed to the NKFI mission of prevention, education, and empowerment. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul's wife Jen donated her kidney to her husband and together they advocated for organ donors and recipients. Read more of their story here.
Friends of the family set up a GoFundMe page to help the family with ongoing expenses related to Paul's illness.
