Team Kidney is thrilled to lock arms again with the Christie Clinic as an official charity partner of the Illinois Marathon. This incredible display of athletic performance and community spirit is more than just a race - it's three days of events, celebrations, physical health activities, and fun.
You can participate in any of the weekend's walks or races on behalf of the NKFI - - and whether you're moseying or zipping along at top speed, every step you take will raise money for kidney research, public education, and free health screenings.

THE COURSE
All of the races start and finish on campus of the University of Illinois — home of the Fighting Illini.
You start near the State Farm Center, run through crowd-filled neighborhoods and tree-lined parks, and finish on the 50-yard line of historic Memorial Stadium. The Illinois Marathon weekend comprises several athletic events. There's the marathon itself, a half marathon, a wheelchair half marathon, a 5K run/walk, and a number of health-related activities.
In addition to the official event schedule, members of Team Kidney are also invited to attend a cookout, welcome-party the night before the event. (Welcome Party details will be emailed to you following registration).
