Middle Market Open™ Golf Tournament

Conway Farms Golf Club & Onwentsia Club
Lake Forest, Illinois 60045

Monday, July 25, 2016

For more than a decade Chicago’s leading middle market dealmakers have gathered for a day of networking, golf, and philanthropic support of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois. The tournament has generated more than $4.5 million dollars to advance the lifesaving mission of the NKFI. We hope you will join us in July as we once again bring together Chicago’s Middle Market community for championship level golf, unparalleled giveaways, access to celebrity golfers, and more!

New this year, the MMO is moving to Chicago’s North Shore. The tournament will take place at Conway Farms Golf Club - home of the 2015 BMW Championship - and Onwentsia Club, both in Lake Forest, IL. The MMO NextGen Tournament, an event that attracts the next generation of dealmakers, will be held the same day at Briarwood Country Club in Deerfield, IL. All attendees are invited to Onwentsia Club following golf for cocktails, dinner, networking, awards ceremony and a golf discussion with a celebrity guest.

Special Guest: Gary McCord

Spend the day with American professional golfer, commentator, author, and actor, Gary McCord. Gary will be a featured guest at the Middle Market Open and will be participating in a Beat the Pro contest at Conway Farms Golf Club and a presentation at the reception at Onwentsia Club following golf.

Gary was a mainstay on the PGA TOUR, making 422 starts of 23 years in a career that was defined by close calls and near misses. His good humor over a career of never capturing an elusive PGA TOUR victory quickly became his calling card, becoming one of the most recognizable names in golf commentary. Since joining CBS’ team for its PGA TOUR coverage in 1989, McCord has garnered praise for his knowledgeable perspective, refreshing humor, and sometimes irreverent wit towards a game that is known for taking itself too seriously.

Don’t miss the chance to hear Gary provide his entertaining insight on the game and get the best of one of golf’s biggest personalities on the course!

MMO NextGen Event Details

Date: Monday, July 25, 2016
Location and Time:

Briarwood Country Club
355 Deerfield Rd.
Deerfield, IL 60015

Registration Begins at 10:00 AM
Shotgun Start at 11:00 AM

Locker rooms will be available for all participants. A grill lunch will be provided, and a reception and dinner will be held for all golfers at Onwentsia Club following golf. NextGen golfers have a reception at Briarwood Country Club immediately following golf (approximately 4:30 PM) and are invited to the MMO reception at Onwentsia at 5:30 PM.

Rules: The format of the MMO NextGen™ is a four-person straight scramble. Each team’s players hit from the tee box, and the best of those shots is chosen through a team consensus.
