the next generation of NKFI supporters take their shot
The MMO NextGen is an opportunity for rising stars of Chicago’s middle market, deal-making community to forge new connections with their peers, partake in a bit of good-natured competition, and support the mission of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois. Hosted by the next generation of NKFI supporters, this delightful day of civic spirit is spent on one of Chicago's finest golf course, and is a wonderful demonstration of support for public health.

The MMO NextGen is hosted in concert with the Middle Market Open. Once both tournaments conclude, participants from both events will join together at the Onwentsia Club, where we’ll wrap things up with an award ceremony, dinner, and cocktails. Together, we'll toast the future of NKFI supported research.
tournament format & overview

Format: The MMO NextGen is a four-person straight scramble. Each team’s players hit from the tee box, and the best of those shots is chosen through a team consensus. All team members then play their second shot from that location and again choose the best shot from which to play. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. Teams must use a minimum of two tee shots from each player throughout the round (one shot per side). The lowest team score for 18 holes wins.

Prizes, Raffles, Auctions: The top three MMO NextGen teams will all win prizes. Following play, you can try your luck at winning additional prizes at the evening cocktail reception by playing the raffle and bidding in the silent auction.

Who Can Play: Players of any status are welcome to play and compete.

A Day at the Club: Locker rooms will be available for all participants, and a grill lunch will be provided at every course.

Rain or Shine: The MMO NextGen does not offer a back-up event date in the event of uncooperative weather, and it does not offer refunds.

The winners will be determined through a random drawing held on July 15, 2019 at the Onwentsia Club following the completion of the Middle Market Open and the MMO NextGen tournaments. Can't make it to the drawing? Don't worry - you don't have to be present to be a winner. (We'll notify you afterwards).
