>Nurses, Technicians, Dietitians and Social Workers
The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois supports the on-going work and care that the allied health professions provide on a day-to-day basis to kidney patients and their families. The NKFI helps to coordinate the meetings, continuing education programs and membership for the all three professional councils.
The NKFI's Professional Councils are dedicated professionals within the kidney community, interested in staying informed, keeping current with treatment guidelines and applications, shaping their professions, enhancing their skills and influencing the delivery of care for the more than 15,000 kidney patients in Illinois. Each of these councils operates within the framework of the NKFI in support of mutual goals of prevention and treatment of kidney and urologic diseases and transplantation.
