The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) is a membership organization of patients, family members, physicians, researchers, and other health professionals. Founded in 1990 by a small group of patients and doctors in Chicago. KCA is a nonprofit charity incorporated in the State of Illinois.

Facts About Kidney Cancer
There are several types of kidney cancer. The most common is called Renal Cell Carcinoma. Each year, 30,000 people are told they have kidney cancer. Over 100,000 kidney cancer survivors are living in the U.S. right now.

The Kidney Cancer Association Services:

  • Advocates on behalf of patients with the federal government, insurance companies, and employers.
  • Provides toll-free telephone number to assist patients with information about kidney cancer to include referrals to doctors who specialize in kidney cancer.
  • Conducts meetings throughout the country for patients, family members, and physicians.
  • Publishes a newsletter "Kidney Cancer News" and provides free publications concerning kidney cancer.
  • Online Services include On-Line Chats and Frequently Asked Questions
