Be a part of the NKFI team! At the NKFI, there are a variety of ways to volunteer your time, expertise and special skills.

Several fundraising events are held throughout the year where we can always use a hand, and the same holds true with patient education programs and community screenings. For those who enjoy public speaking, there are opportunities to speak to high schools, corporations and community groups about your personal experience with kidney disease and/or transplantation.

And for those who are just looking to fill a couple of hours of the day and enjoy being around the fun staff at the NKFI, we can always use help around the office!

For more information about volunteering at the NKFI, please email Regina White at rwhite@nkfi.org or complete our Volunteer Profile and fax or send back to us. A NKFI staff member will contact you. If you are unable to print from our website, we would be happy to send you a Volunteer Profile in the mail and more information about who we are and what we do. Or, as always, you may contact the NKFI directly at 312-321-1500.

WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!

Congratulations to our 2006 Community Leadership Award Recipients: Stuart Sprague, DO, Joan Fieldhouse, RN, US Equities Realty, Stephen Jensik, MD, Illinois State Representative Tom Cross, Sherri Schneider and Katina Smith.

Thanks to all of you who have helped in any capacity to make the NKFI a better place!
