KidneyMobile®: On the Road to Health Living!

In 2005, the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI) launched the nation's first KidneyMobile®, a custom mobile exhibit offering free prevention education and health screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD) to Illinois communities. Our first priority is to provide health services to underserved communities with limited or insufficient access to healthcare and also to communities most at risk for these diseases, specifically Latino and African American communities.
